West Lawn is a community south west of Chicago’s Loop and its borders are 60^th Street north, 75^th Street south, Western Avenue east, and Pulaski west.

West Lawn is a residential community with a small town feel with big city amenities. Polish, Irish, and Mexican Americans comprise most of the population, which is reflected in the areas shops and businesses. One of the area’s businesses, Capitol Cigar Store, features a tall Native American statue, which was featured in the movie, Wayne’s World.

West Lawn’s landscape is dominated by single-family homes, but development of condos and apartments are on the rise in this growing community.
