The South Loop is a community situated directly south of downtown Chicago with Madison Avenue north, 23^rd south, Lake Michigan east, and Halsted west.

Young professionals make up the largest populous because of the proximity to downtown, but students and families also call the South Loop home.  The Printer’s Row area in this neighborhood is home to Columbia College and The Institute of Art, which has brought many artists and galleries into the area. South Loop is home to the Chicago Bear’s Soldier field and the area known as the Museum Campus with the Shedd Aquarium and Alder Planetarium to its credit. These attractions have brought in great restaurants and bars for tourists and residents alike to enjoy.

Developers are continually taking on new projects in this community. Factories and warehouses have been converted into lofts and two and three flats into lavish single-family homes.
