Mount Greenwood is a south side Chicago community with its borders from 103^rd Street north, Blue Island south, Kedzie east, and Cicero west.

The southwestern community is predominately Irish-Catholic, which is reflected in the neighborhood’s many churches, schools, and church-based community organizations. Mount Greenwood is also home to one of the largest populations of police and fire fighters in the city. The community has a large park featuring a field house, swimming pool, ice rink, soft surface playground, and many community activities for the entire family to share.

Mount Greenwood exhibits traditional south side Chicago architecture with many single-family homes such as bungalows and ranches lining its streets.
