Bridgeport is a community just south of the loop with its borders from 22^nd to the north, Pershing Road to the south, Interstate 90/94 to the east, and Ashland Avenue to the west.

Bridgeport is home of US Cellular Field, where the 2005 World Series Baseball Champions, the Chicago White Sox, call home. Bridgeport has one of the largest Irish-American populations in Chicago but also has a growing Lithuanian population, particularly along Lituanica Avenue, which runs between 31st and 35th Streets.
